Our Mission
We are two sisters who believe that we need to help save the Monarch Butterflies and Honey Bee's habitat in Loudoun County, Virginia. But why would we help? Butterflies and Bees are actually crucial to have in our environment because they help pollenate plants and keep the Earth a more colorful and beautiful place to live.
Our Goal
Our goal is to plant Lavender, butterfly bushes, marigolds, and Milkweed etc. in school courtyards to give bees and butterflies a place to pollenate and call "home". For a 24 square foot garden it would be $56. For 5 school we would need to raise $280. The schools that we have introduced the idea to are Farmwell Station Middle School, Eagle Ridge Middle School, Belmont Ridge Middle School, Newton Lee Elementary School, and Belmont Station Elementary School.
